Elevator Pitch No. 1

Everyone Gets Baked Goods
I want to open a bakery that everyone can eat at, no mater what their dietary restrictions are. So I'm proposing to open a bakery in which we serve your regular bakery goods, as well as gluten-free, sugar-free and vegan friendly baked goods as well. I think this is the perfect solution to the current issue of people with dietary restrictions being unable to eat out at most places and having to slum it alone, always cooking for themselves.

  1. Hi Maxine,

Many people have dietary restrictions these days and you have a great idea. I would enjoy having a healthy sweet baked good from your shop once in awhile. Your presentation was great. You sounded extemporaneous and like you knew what you were talking about. It sounds like you know your baked goods and the needs of the customer. Your attire was fitting as well. I really enjoyed your elevator pitch. Good luck on the coming assignments.

  2. Hello Maxine,
I liked your pitch good job. I hope to see a Baked Goods! anywhere in the near future. I have a question for you to consider, how are you going to prepare your goods in a way that guaranties no cross contamination? The reason most vegans will not eat out is because they have no way of being certain their food has not been contaminated by something else in the kitchen. I'd enjoy to hear your answer. Have a great semester.

  3. Hey Maxine! I really like your idea and think it would do well in a college town like Gainesville where you find such a diverse group of people with different dietary needs. A friend of mine in high school was gluten free and lactose intolerant and it was definitely hard when we would try and go out to eat to find something we both liked and she could eat. Overall, I think you did great on your first pitch. Here’s a link to check out how my first elevator pitch went: http://cxgoss.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-1.html
